The Public Education Party is a political organisation registered in NSW.

This Privacy Policy sets out our commitment to protecting the privacy of your personal information that we collect from you via Public Education Party's websites.

We collect personal information from people who provide their details using our on-line sign-up, membership or donation forms. By completing our on-line forms you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described in this policy.

The information we collect may include your name, email address, date of birth, phone number and address.

Your personal information we hold will be used by us in connection with the activities of the Public Education Party and to help us engage with you. We may also use your information to contact you in relation to our political campaigns and to keep you up to date with our activities.

You will have the opportunity to unsubscribe from our communications at any time. You can ask to have your personal information updated or removed from our records at any time.

How we hold personal information

The Public Education Party takes the security and confidentiality of your personal information seriously and actively seeks to ensure that all personal information we collect is protected from misuse, interference and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

The information you provide to us is recorded in a database which is stored securely and password protected.

The Public Education Party will not share or sell your personal information with unaffiliated third parties or use it for any purpose other than in connection with the activities of Public Education Party and the technical administration of our websites and databases, without your consent.

Where personal information is held that is no longer needed, we will take reasonable steps to ensure the information is destroyed or de-identified.

Whilst every attempt has been made to protect visitors’ privacy, the Public Education Party accepts no fault if these systems result in a breach of privacy. The Public Education Party may update our Privacy Policy as required.
