The Public Education Party needs at least 750 members, whose details match the electoral roll, to pass registration each year, and to be eligible to run candidates in NSW elections.

Anybody can join, providing they are enrolled to vote in NSW, are at least 18 years old, have lived at their present address for at least one month, and are not a member of another party.

Current NSW employees may become members of the Public Education Party.

Be guided by your employers’ code of conduct with regards to your party membership and your ongoing obligations as an employee.

Membership of the Public Education Party is free of charge.
